Sales Manager - export department

As part of the expansion of the Export Department, we are looking for a colleague for the position of Export Sales Manager. In the case of export business, the company focuses on selling exotic woods from Malaysia, Indonesia, South America and Canada, plywood, wooden floors and facades worldwide. Job description:

  • develop and maintain the export customer database
  • Responsibility for turnover results, proactive sales and enquiry handling
  • prospecting and contacting new potential customers
  • providing administrative and organisational support (issuing tax documents and quotations, communication with customs, filling in CMR sheets, handling certificates, recording turnover, etc...
  • contact with carriers, tendering for freight costs and complete preparation for clearance of shipments, including communication with customs
  • prepare product materials, price lists and other marketing material in English (marketing department continues to prepare graphics)
    inputting information on loading dates and quantities according to import documents into the company's ABRA Gen software
  • assisting the export manager in arranging all import and export documents and other activities
  • completing and administrative adjustments in ABRA Gen software related to setting up assortment and trade discounts for export partners, including stock cards in English
  • collaborate with departments across the company

Required skills:

  • active knowledge of English in both written and verbal form at a minimum level of B2
  • professional knowledge in the woodworking or construction industry an advantage
  • business acumen and a talent for communicating with customers
  • helpful and friendly approach
  • ability to work independently but also be a team player
  • time flexibility and loyalty, willingness to travel
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office - especially familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and Outlook email
